At New Life, we offer teenagers, grades 6 - 12, a fun and safe environment where they can encounter new friends and encounter Jesus. That's why it's called Encounter! We seek to accomplish this through our energetic worship, engaging & relevant teaching, and intimate small groups. Every student is welcome at Encounter!

We want to help students encounter Jesus and good friends by inviting them to Belong to God's family, Believe in Jesus, and Become His disciples.

Acts 2:42-47 shows us that we can accomplish this vision by sticking to five core values. Our goal is to:

Gather non-believing students & teach them to
Love God

Open up to other believers
Run the race of the Gospel &
Yield to their unique purpose

When we accomplish these five goals, God gets the GLORY.

Meeting Times:

Encounter Midweek

Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 pm

Midweek is a great time for students to first get plugged into our student ministry! We show students that it's alright to have a good time at church, because God is far from boring. Yet, we also make sure to spend time getting serious and looking at what God has revealed to us in the Bible. This is where we teach students to love God as He has loved us.

Encounter Community Groups
Sundays 12:00-1:30 pm

We understand that students are growing up in a difficult & confusing world. Community groups provide a place where students can connect with other followers of Jesus their age & walk through life with them. During community groups, students spend time doing anything from connecting over snacks, to sharing their stories, studying Scripture, or serving the local community as a group. This is where students can open up to other believers.

Other Info

Apart from our two weekly meeting times, New Life also offers students the opportunity to run the race of the Gospel by becoming a disciple of Jesus. In other words, we teach students how to follow the life that Jesus modeled through many different avenues as they become more involved in the student ministry.

We also present students with the opportunity to discover how God has uniquely gifted them to serve others. This is where they find the opportunity to yield to their unique purpose.

Finally, we teach students to be people of love. They learn at New Life how to share their personal story with their friends & family. Our students learn to gather other students from within their sphere of influence, so that those who are gathered might also experience the abundant life that God has to offer.
